Closure (finally)

I called him (the "worst person ever" him) tonight to prove a point.

The point that I get over things quickly and bounce back quickly.

It surprised me when he actually picked up and was willing to talk.

I called him and told him that I'd forgiven him for what had happened, and that I'm over it now.  He said he had not really forgiven himself for what he'd done, but it meant a lot to him that I've forgiven him.

I looked at the date on the clock.

It's March 17th now, 4 days shy of one year.

I forgive (it's such a nice feeling).  I forgive.  I forgive. I forgive. I forgive.
