Happy 2008 everyone!!

I've been so busy with grad school apps, I'm even more stressed out this winter break than I have been all semester long!

I got all my applications sent out, my transcripts and GRE scores sent. The only things not done are my teacher recommendations and my portfolios for the 4 schools.

I'm also signed up to be only taking one class this coming semester. Which means I'll be job hunting the rest of the time.

On a lighter note, I have a funny little anecdote to tell you guys (it's a bit gross though)

B and I went to a cute little Korean tea & shaved ice cafe the other day, when B had to go to the bathroom.  10 minutes later, he came out and told me that the fast food we ate previously had caused some explosive diarrhea.  Soon after B had exited the bathroom, a little boy who looked no older than about 7 years old went in.  The door had barely closed behind him before the little boy quickly decided he didn't have to go that badly,  turned around, burst out of the stinky bathroom, and ran
for dear life.

2007 Recap

And yet another year of my life has gone by. What have I done in 2007?

January:

- Started possibly the most grueling studio experience ever known as Velux Studio.
-Got together with Blake
-Started getting to know the roommates

February:

- Worked my butt off in Studio.
- Became really good friends with my roommates
- Broke up with Blake

March:

-Ate four double cheeseburgers and thought I was going to die of a heart attack.
-Got back together with Blake
-Decided to take a few more courses to minor in Chinese
-Went to Miami/South Beach for spring break.
-Bought the hottest pair of red satin heels with cute little bows on the back in Miami
-Found my childhood bestest best friend ever over facebook and met her in person!

April:

-Broke up with Blake
-Ripped a phone book in half as a dare for studio when none of the boys could do it
-Pulled a 92 hour all nighter.
-Got done with Studio.

May:

-Finished school, went to study abroad in China
-Got back together with Blake, who went on the same trip.
-Saw my grandparents again for the first time in 4 years
-Bought a bunny

June:

-Bunny died of genetic defects from inbred parents :(
-Got really f'ing pissed off at Blake, but stayed together
-I had another birthday and turned really old.

July:

-Came back from China
-Went to Florida to visit my fake grandma
-Studied for my GRE's

August:

-Started my last year at Georgia Tech.
-Blake "moved in" with me because he was homeless.
-Started the most relaxing studio ever.

September:

-Partied lots
-Went to Dragon*con for the first time
-Started cooking more than I'd ever cooked in my entire life

October:

-Went to Washington, D.C. for the Solar Decathlon competition.
-Met up with my fake cousin and his parents while in DC.
-Still haven't done much in studio
-Dressed up as a super hot pirate for halloween.

November:

-Met Yang's sisters, Evangeline and Sherri
-Collapsed my right lung (Primary spontaneous pneumothorax)
-Had surgery
-Missed Thanksgiving

December:

-Wrote more essays than I've ever written in my entire life
-Finished my second to last semester at tech.
-Finished grad school apps but not the portfolio
-Went to LA
-Drove to San Francisco from LA
-Finished up the last of the grad school stuffs minus the portfolio!
-Broke up w/Blake a bunch of times, things were going to shit.
